3.You socially bookmark each article to 100 bookmarking sites

4.Every day you bookmark each  article to 10 new social networks (there are thousands)

5.write one article per week and add 2 links to 2 of the articles

6.Bookmark this article to 100 bookmarking sites

7.Build a mini site map with all ten links plus the article links that do link to the original 10

8.Socially bookmark that mini site map to 100 bookmarking sites

9.Repeat this step after 6 months

10.Continue to bookmark each article to one site per day



After 18 months you should have around 10 pr5 articles pointing to your page of choice


Another 10  pr 4 articles pointing to the page of your choice

Another 10 pr3 article pointing to where you want them

That's 30 links from pr5-4-3 sites


You'd easy pay $800 a month for those links and you can get them for just 20 minutes per day.

Yes, I am a self confessed dofollow link junkie.  I hunt them down and pretty much only use sites that offer dofollow links for contributors and fair enough really, after all if I do submit my content that I spend my precious time creating, then I think I may just deserve a dofollow link for my troubles - Call me pedantic.



Google only counts dofollow links and ignores nofollow links so if you want to rank well in google the king of search engines, you'd better build a lot of dofollow links to your page of choice.


If you do spend a little time building nofollow links, it wont be completely in vain as they are another possible source of traffic and they can get indexed by the other lesser search engines and thus lead to good rankings in those serps.


There is a theory around that you need nofollow links to look like your link building is natural and if you don't have the right proportion of nofollow to dofollow then you may look spammy.


There aren't any statistics to say what proportion of nofollow link inhabit the web, but if I had to guess, I'd hazard that it is around 30%

For that reason, it would seem that if your overall proportion of nofollow links is drastically differing from this then it may look as though you have engaged in a spammy time of link building.


There are pluses and minuses to building nofollow links, but if you keep your nofollow links at around the 30% mark then you'll be far more valuable in the eyes of the search engines as a naturally growing site

Ok so, maybe good is too strong a postive description for nofollow links.  Perhaps what I should really say is that they aren't all bad.
