You're never too old to start anything. But just be less enthusiastic to think it practically. In fact, you are in no way to start anything if your mind is still cherishing too many illusions that you should have dropped for good. Man is limited by his surroundings, "making ends meet" and myriads of other things... This saying only sounds true if we add "practical" so that it reads, "You're never too old to start anything practical".
